Terms of Service

Last updated October 9, 2026

Draft — under review. This is a plain-language summary of how BookWithMee works today. It is being reviewed and may change before it is final. Questions: support@bookwithmee.com.

BookWithMee gives independent service providers a booking link: customers pick a service and a time, share reference photos, and pay a deposit when the provider asks for one. These terms cover providers who sign up for an account and customers who book through a provider’s link.

By creating an account or making a booking you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

  1. 1. Who is responsible for what

BookWithMee is software. Each provider runs their own business and is responsible for their services, prices, availability, cancellation policy, and for the appointment itself. A booking is an agreement between the customer and the provider.

We are responsible for running the booking link, sending the booking emails, and passing deposits through to the provider via Stripe.

  2. 2. Provider accounts

You must give accurate details, keep your password safe, and be at least the age of majority where you live. You are responsible for activity on your account.

You agree not to use BookWithMee for anything illegal, to list services you can’t provide, or to collect deposits you don’t intend to honour.

  3. 3. Plans and billing

BookWithMee is free until your bookings reach $200 in total value. After that, new online bookings pause until you choose a paid plan; existing bookings are never affected. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew until you cancel from Settings → Plan.

We don’t take a fee from your bookings. Stripe’s own processing fees apply to deposits.

  4. 4. Deposits and payouts

Deposits are charged by Stripe and paid out to the provider’s connected Stripe account. Providers must complete Stripe’s verification to take deposits and must follow Stripe’s terms. Payout timing is set by Stripe.

  5. 5. Cancellations and refunds

Each provider sets a free-cancellation window (for example, 24 or 48 hours). The window shown when you book is the one that applies to your booking. Cancel or reschedule from your booking link before the window closes and any deposit is refunded in full; after it, the deposit stays with the provider.

If a time is taken by someone else while your payment is going through, we refund the deposit in full automatically. Providers can issue refunds at any time from their Studio.

  6. 6. Content you upload

You keep ownership of the photos, descriptions and notes you upload. You give us permission to store and show them as needed to run the service — for example, showing a customer’s reference photos to the provider they booked. Only upload content you have the right to share.

  7. 7. Ending your account

Providers can pause their page at any time from Settings, or ask us to delete their account by emailing support@bookwithmee.com. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put customers at risk.

  8. 8. Liability

We work hard to keep BookWithMee running, but it is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for the services providers deliver, for missed or disputed appointments, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

  9. 9. Changes and contact

We’ll post any changes here and tell providers by email about material ones. Questions about these terms: support@bookwithmee.com.
